Lots of garden excitement this summer! We landscaped the front yard so we could spend more time focusing on the deck container garden and the side perennial garden. Lately all the gardens seem to be engulfed by weeds! I post a lot of garden pictures on Instagram–please follow me there for more pictures and garden musings! There is always so much work to do but I find a lot of jewelry inspiration in the garden.
I was inspired to make a collection of lovely flower earrings in the Art Nouveau style, perfect for the garden witch! I used Lucite flowers and added swaying stamens to some and left a few without stamens. I used antiqued brass leafy beadcaps, Czech glass, and Swarovski beads and pearls to accent these lovelies.
First, a happy pair of pink and green pair, called Lotus Faerie.
Then a beautiful pair in turquoise and light purple that I call Apsara, named after the beautiful celestial dancers from Indian mythology.
A scarlet red and black pair that I call Scarlet Trumpet Lily.
An ethereal white pair with two layers of flowers and Swarovski pearls that I call Night Blooming Jasmine.
A fae pair with lavender and pale blue flowers and a lilac Swarovski pearl that I call Lavender Bellflowers.
And finally, a moody dark purple and olive green pair with green and black accents that I call Bewitching Belladonna.
I hope you enjoy these beautiful flower earrings and may they bring magic to your summer days!
